Your website is your best sales platform. Is it working?
Most small business websites don’t fail loudly. They quietly bring in fewer enquiries than they should, and it’s hard to know why. A website audit shows you.
Not enough enquiries
People visit, look around and leave without getting in touch. The audit shows where they get stuck.
Hard to find on Google
If your competitors are more visible than you, you need to know why before you spend money on SEO or advertising.
Not sure what to fix
Out-of-date plugins, a slow site or a confusing layout can all hold you back. We find the issues and explain them in plain English.
Eight areas, one clear website audit report
Think of it as a health check for your website. We check the things that decide whether your site is found, trusted and used.
Design and branding
Whether your site looks professional, suits your audience and resizes properly on phones, tablets and desktops.
Conversion
Whether each page has a clear next step, such as a phone number, enquiry form or button, and whether you build trust with reviews.
SEO and visibility
How visible you are for the searches your customers make, and which competitors are ahead. See Google’s own SEO starter guide.
User experience
Whether visitors can find what they need, navigate easily and contact you without effort.
Speed and performance
How quickly your pages load and what is slowing them down. You can try Google’s PageSpeed Insights yourself.
Security
Protection for your data and your customers’ data, against common weaknesses. The National Cyber Security Centre has good advice.
WordPress review
How your site is built, the theme and plugins in use, anything out of date, and whether your plugin and theme licences are in order.
Email and domain setup
SPF, DKIM and DMARC records, so your emails reach inboxes and can’t easily be faked.
A PDF report, then a proper conversation
A report on its own can sit in your inbox unread. That’s why every website audit includes 2 hours with Greg.
Your PDF report lists what we found, with action points in order of importance. Then we spend 2 hours going through the findings together, answering your questions, and agreeing a price to fix the issues.
There is no obligation to hire us afterwards. You can fix things yourself, pass the report to your own web person, or ask us to help.

Website audit FAQs
What is a website audit?
A website audit is a detailed check of your website covering design, conversion, SEO, user experience, speed, security, your WordPress setup and your email and domain setup. You get a PDF report and 2 hours going through the findings.
How much does a website audit cost?
£149, including VAT. That covers the audit, the PDF report, 2 hours going through the findings and a price to fix any issues.
Why do I need a website audit?
A website that isn’t looked after can lose you customers and put your business at risk. An audit shows you what is working, what isn’t and what to fix first, before you spend money on SEO, advertising or a redesign.
How long does a website audit take?
Typically 3 to 5 working days from booking. It can occasionally take a little longer depending on workload, and I’ll always tell you the date when you book.
Do I need to give you access to my website?
Most of the audit is done from the outside, the way a visitor or search engine sees your site. For some checks, such as security and your WordPress setup, we may need access. If we do, we will ask you first and tell you how to send your details securely.
What happens after I receive the report?
We spend 2 hours going through the findings together. You’ll also get a price to fix the issues. There is no obligation to hire us.
Is the website audit only for WordPress sites?
Our audit is built around WordPress, which is what we specialise in. If your site is on another platform, get in touch first and we’ll tell you what we can cover.
Will a website audit get me to the top of Google?
No audit can promise that. It shows you what is holding your site back and what to fix first, which is the sensible place to start.
